\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0HaosBLOG<\/a>\u00a0Today we will talk about personalized design in the Tiny House movement. Tiny Houses are fictions that are planned in space by minimizing the needs of the person. The concept is worked in line with the functions that each user wants to function in the space. So how are these functions determined? Let's create our needs program together!<\/p>

For example; an individual who lives alone at home and works from home- office needs a workspace in a Tiny House. At this point, a point independent from the entrance and circulation areas should be selected and a layout should be created where the user can use natural light at maximum level. The design of this area can be flexible in proportion to the profession. If it is a lawyer, a large bookcase where he can store his files, or if it is a painter, an area where he can comfortably position his easel...\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Our needs are of course not limited to our profession. If you have a Tiny House that works with an on-grid system, you have to stock your own energy and water. In other words, we have added + storage space to our needs program. Or on the contrary, our water and electricity come from the land. So we are not in a portable system. Our location is of course in nature, inferring that we are a Tiny House user! We want to utilize all the opportunities from nature. We have dreams of watching the stars at night, it must come true. Our needs program is not the only thing we talk about when designing a Tiny House. Who are we and what do we like and dislike? We examine ourselves in order to reflect it in the space. Now let's prepare a document in our minds. For example, what kind of motivation do we need for the function we will perform in the space? If you are someone who wants to learn how to cook and you idolize a chef, will his success story inspire you? What kind of atmosphere can you imagine when you can make Antonio Bachour's signature cakes? Think about it and let's talk about it together below.<\/p>

I hear that some of you consider cooking as therapy. Heal!\u00a0<\/em>We've already found our concept. Let's create a healing breeze in our kitchen. Let's start by creating a color scheme that relaxes and soothes you. Blue? A great choice! He observed that when he went to the sea or watched it, it had a calming effect on him. So in our space, we should take approaches that make us feel like we are underwater.\u00a0<\/p>

In a similar vein, if we want to separate our kitchen from our living space, we need to go back to our questions and answers. When your family is playing board games and you are preparing the meal, do you want to be part of their conversation or do you work independently? Where do you like to eat?<\/p>

Let's say we don't want to break the communication between the two spaces and we prefer to eat in the kitchen. There is a concept that we underline a lot when designing a Tiny House; 'being minimal'. Everything from the furniture we use to the sanitary ware should take up minimal space but perform at maximum level. Here, I would like to go back to the modular systems I mentioned earlier because at this point, our biggest supporters are modular furniture<\/strong>\u00a0They are the superheroes of Tiny Houses.

Let's talk about why with the example in the bottom image. Creating a lot of seating in small spaces is critical. But we don't need all of it at every moment. Apart from saving the moment, we should have masses in the space that will not get in the way. If the coffees are over, everyone can start doing their own thing. Can we have our own private space in Tiny Houses? Mezzanines or under the stairs are functional spots that we can utilize to create personal spaces in our tiny living spaces. Turning Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs into a wonderland can only happen when you, the users, and us, the interior designers, work hand in hand.<\/p>

We talked about a lot of topics, but I would like to dwell on one of my sentences. I said, 'We have dreams of watching the stars at night, it must come true.' It is a moment that we unfortunately cannot add to our daily habits in city life. Luckily, we can make it possible in our Tiny House life! The sky can be a friend to accompany our sleep.
